Aunt Norie’s Sewing Room
The Community Barbecue is set for 5 p.m. Saturday at Jarbalo United Methodist Church. The event will feature entertainment and a pie auction.
Bid Sheppard attended a shower for Lacey Comer on Aug. 27. Comer is the future bride of Joel Aufdemberge Jr.
Ryan and Nicole Robertson and family of Jericho Springs, Mo., visited Wanda and Paul Benson and other relatives on Aug. 27.
Thamar Barnett visited her sister, Beth Smith, at Colonial manor in Lansing on Aug. 29 and attended the manor's monthly birthday party. One of the relatives celebrating her birthday was Violet Lange, formerly of this area.
