The Night

Time running out as the morning comes

I know soon I will have to let go

You asked if I could do this

Yes it was the only way I could be with you

To finally see you in front of me

Feel your touch on my skin

Your kiss on my lips

Hear your voice in my ear

Feel your breath as you speak

Our bodies so close

Almost becoming one

Now I will accept the consequences

Say goodbye as the morning sun shines

Good bye to the one I have longed to be with

The one I shared an untouchable love

You gave me the night I desired

Now the day takes away what I had longed for
