McLouth happenings

John and Zelma Sanders thank their family for playing host to their 60th anniversary celebration, and all their friends who attended and sent cards for making it such a memorable event.
McLouth Friendship Club's Covered Dish Luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Community Center. All adults 50 and older are welcome. Please bring a covered dish to share, and your table service. If you need a ride, the Jefferson County Services Organization vehicle (with limited seating) is available to residents within a one-mile radius of McLouth. Please call Charlotte Robinson to make your reservation for a ride: (913) 796-6798.
¢ McLouth Parent Teachers Organization will sponsor a "Back-to-School Picnic" from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, August 21, at the elementary school playground for all students, their parents and families, staff and faculty.
