Edith May McDaniel 1922 - 2007

Services for Edith May McDaniel, 85, Baldwin City, will be at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 12, at Ulmers Funeral Home in Carthage, Mo. Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery in Jasper, Mo.
Mrs. McDaniel died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Jan. 28, 1922, in Lamar, Mo., the daughter of Elmer and Bessie Ellen Simmons Vincent.
Mrs. McDaniel was a homemaker.
She married Howard James McDaniel on Dec. 25, 1940, in Lamar. He preceded her in death.
A daughter, Juanita May McDaniel, also died earlier.
Survivors include three daughters, Ellen Grammer, Baldwin City, Sharon Brock, Linwood, and Sandee Atkinson, Spokane, Wash.; a son, James, Lawrence.; a sister, Jeanette Green, Henry, Ill.; a brother, Elvin “Skip” Vincent, Sarcoxie, Mo.; 24 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
