Services for Leota Ellen McHenry, 92, of Tonganoxie, will be at 11 a.m. today, Dec. 12, at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kan.
Mrs. McHenry died Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, after a long illness.
She was born June 20, 1915, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Arthur Chester and Etta Florence (Neeley) Loftiss.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Doyle; a daughter, Shelly McGhee, Tonganoxie; a son, Jerome McHenry, Kansas City, Mo.; two grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia States, Kansas City, Kan.
Mrs. McHenry was preceded in death by a so, David McHenry, and a grandson.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. today until service time at the funeral home.
The family requests memorials to West Haven Baptist Church, where Leota and Doyle have been longtime members. Memorials may be sent in care of the funeral home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS 66112.
