Dorothy M. Taylor 1925 - 2008 Lawrence

Funeral services for Dorothy M. Taylor, 83, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 3 at West Haven Baptist Church, Tonganoxie.
Burial will be in Baxter Springs Cemetery in Baxter Springs.
Mrs. Taylor died Friday, May 30, 2008.
She was born Feb. 4, 1925, in Baxter Springs, the daughter of Floyd W. and Bessie (Brewer) Doty. She was a loving homemaker and had worked in Government Service. Memberships include: West Haven Baptist Church, several square dancing clubs and American Legion Auxiliary. On May 28, 1947, she married Melvin B. Taylor in Baxter Springs.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin, of the home; two sons, Don, Lawrence, and Larry, Overland Park; two sisters, Frances Heavin, Baxter Springs, and Wilma J. Selle, Nixa, Mo.; 6 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and 2 step-great-grandsons.
The family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, June 2 at the church.
