Bethard Stoneworks is the place to go to have stones, cement or even wood carved. Heath Bethard, who is a firefighter in Johnson County, spends about two days a week at his two-year-old business, Bethard Stoneworks. Pictured with Bethard is his sister, Jenny Smith, and her son, Garrett.
Andrew Eveland, Tonganoxie, leads his friends Curtis Marks, Jason Marks and Chuck Wilson down the street Saturday afternoon. The boys say that they want the city to build a park with ramps and a half-pipe, like Lawrence did, so they can do more than just ride up and down the streets.
Four suspects were apprehended Monday following a high-speed chase from Tonganoxie to Basehor. The four are suspected in a morning burglary at a rural home.
