Christy Weller leads a pack of runners at the state meet. Weller placed 36th with a 13:14 time. The sophomore led all Tonganoxie runners.
Tonganoxie runner Kaitlyn Satthooff makes her way across the finish line at the state meet. Saathoff finished the race with a 14:41 time. She finished in 90th. The Chieftain girls, as a team, finished 12th at state, while the boys team placed ninth.

THS senior Garrett Kelly jockeys for position against a Holton runner at the state meet. Kelly ended his career with the Chieftains with a 20:15 time at state, good for 98th.
Tonganoxie's David Powell nears the finish line at the state meet. Powell, a freshman, finished 76th with an 18:56 time in the 4A meet.
Tonganoxie's Colin Perkins runs during Saturday's Class 4A state meet at Wamego. Perkins finishes 47th at the meet with a time of 17 minutes 58 seconds.
