Lynette Trotter shows Cameron Elkins, 4, how to grind coffee like an old-fashioned cowboy. Trotter and her husband, Bill Stewart, wore clothes like those historically worn by farmers and ranchers, and offered unfiltered "cowboy coffee" to visitors of Autumn in the Grove.
Cathy Carnahan Nichols holds an old photograph of her ancestors who owned Kelly Grove before it was donated to the City of Lansing. Nichols, who now lives in South Carolina, returned for Autumn in the Grove in 2006 to display information about the history of the land.
