Tonganoxie High senior Roxi Grizzle prepares to launch the javelin on Friday at the Kansas Relays in Lawrence. Grizzle won the event for the second time in her prep career with a throw of 163 feet, 11 inches, a new personal and school record.
Six Chieftains compete at Kansas Relays
Tonganoxie High sent six of its track and field athletes - Gabe Belobrajdic, Roni Grizzle, Roxi Grizzle, Chrissie Jeannin, Christy Weller and Jeremy Carlisle - to the Kansas Relays in Lawrence. All of them competed on Friday at the mega-event on the Kansas University campus.
