Tonganoxie snowmen January 24, 2007
The weekend's storm dumped several inches of snow on Tonganoxie. By early Sunday afternoon, it seemed snowmen, or snowman-making activities, were visible throughout town.
Perhaps one of the largest Tonganoxie snow creatures was this dragon, who is guarding a home in Jackson Heights.
This group was just getting started on their snow family, which even included a snowman of their dog, Shay. Pictured from left are, Alexis Guinn, Brandon McKinsey, Amy Guinn and Baylee Whitson.
David and Christa Barrera build an igloo with their daughters, Ellena and Isabel. After completing the igloo the family planned to sit inside and sip steaming mugs of hot cocoa.
Samantha and Heather Wyrick roll a snowball uphill. Later the girls added it to a snowman they made in their backyard.
